Editorial policy
This page is the standard every product page, category page and guide on Farma360 is written against. It is published so you can hold us to it.
1. Food supplements, never medicines
Every product listed here is a food supplement. Nothing on this site is described as diagnosing, treating, curing or preventing any disease, because a food supplement legally cannot be, and because people are genuinely harmed when supplement marketing persuades them otherwise.
We do not publish, in any category: claims to cure or reverse a condition; any suggestion that a supplement allows you to reduce or stop prescribed medication; promises of a guaranteed outcome; or promises of a specific outcome in a specific timeframe.
2. Composition: published, or stated as unpublished
We publish an ingredient list only where the manufacturer publishes one. Currently 4 of our 18 products do. Where a manufacturer does not, the page says so in plain words and tells you to ask the call centre agent to read the label before accepting delivery.
We never invent milligram amounts, never publish a dosage schedule the manufacturer has not stated, and never copy a composition from a similarly named product. Supplement brand names are reused across manufacturers constantly, and a borrowed ingredient list is a fabrication with a plausible face on it.
3. Evidence described as it is, including where it is weak
Our ingredient pages state where research is mixed or inconclusive. Glucosamine and chondroitin have inconsistent trial results and we say so. Saw palmetto trials disagree and we say so. Maca did not raise testosterone in the studies that measured it, which contradicts most of the marketing around it, and we say that too.
Where a mechanism cannot be described because the composition is not published, we say the mechanism cannot be described rather than writing a generic paragraph that sounds like an explanation.
4. When we tell you to see a doctor instead
Every relevant page names the symptoms that need a clinician rather than a capsule: blood in urine, a hot swollen joint, chest pain, inability to pass urine, unexplained weight loss, fever with pelvic pain, back pain with leg weakness. A supplement taken instead of an assessment is the one genuinely dangerous way to use these products, and pages that sell them should say so first.
5. Comments and ratings
The comments on product pages are a selection of what buyers have sent us. They are edited for length and to remove claims a food supplement cannot make — statements about curing conditions, about reducing prescribed medication, and about clinical measurements attributed to the product. What remains is the person's experience in their own terms.
We display no badge asserting that a commenter bought the product, because we do not confirm purchases and a badge asserting it would be a lie. Ratings shown in search results are calculated in code from the comments actually published on the page — the number in the markup is always the number on the screen, and it includes the three and four star comments as well as the five star ones.
6. Images
Product photographs come from the supplier's own materials. Where a supplier has not published a product photograph for the Kenyan listing, the page shows no photograph and says so, rather than using an image of a different product. Lifestyle and pharmacy photographs are illustrative and are not photographs of our customers, our staff or any named individual.
We do not publish fabricated certificates, laboratory seals, regulator logos or images implying government endorsement.
7. Prices
Prices are shown in Kenyan shillings as quoted by the supplier's Kenyan call centre, alongside the manufacturer's list price so you can see what a discount is measured against. We do not advertise free shipping, do not publish delivery windows we cannot verify, and do not use countdown timers or invented stock counts.
If the amount you are quoted on the phone differs from what this site shows, do not accept the order and tell us at support@farma360.co.ke. We would rather correct a listing than have a customer pay a price we did not publish.
8. Commercial relationship
Farma360 earns a commission on orders placed through this site. That does not change what we publish, and the clearest evidence is that our pages routinely argue against a purchase: telling readers to have a PSA test first, to try free measures before buying, to buy general vitamins at a pharmacy instead, and to prefer the products that publish an ingredient list. 9. Corrections
If anything here is wrong, out of date or misleading, write to support@farma360.co.ke with the page address. We correct rather than quietly delete, and where a supplier stops serving Kenya we remove the listing instead of leaving a page that cannot be ordered from.
