The three routes for buying supplements in Kenya
Retail pharmacy. Best route for general vitamins and minerals and for internationally
distributed brands. You can inspect the pack, read the label in your hand and ask a pharmacist about
interactions on the spot. The limitation is assortment: a chain stocks what its wholesalers carry.
Online marketplaces. Enormous range and competitive pricing, but the platform verifies
the seller far more thoroughly than it verifies each individual pack. Health supplements are one of the
most commonly counterfeited categories worldwide, which makes an identifiable seller and a plausible price
the two things worth checking hardest.
Supplier-direct, which is what this site is. Fixed price in shillings, a confirmation call
with a person, and payment on delivery so nothing is charged before the parcel exists. The trade-offs are
real and we would rather state them: no pack to inspect before ordering, no seller ratings to read, and no
marketplace dispute process. What you can do is ask the agent to read the label to you before you accept
delivery, and inspect the pack at the door before paying.
Delivery across Kenya
Parcels leave Nairobi and reach addresses nationwide. In practice Nairobi and the surrounding towns are
the fastest, the major cities follow, and smaller upcountry towns take longer. The agent gives you an
estimate for your address on the call — we do not publish delivery windows here because we cannot verify
them, and a promise we cannot keep is worse than no promise.
Counties and towns customers most often ask about: Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, Nyeri, Machakos, Meru, Kakamega, Kisii, Malindi, Kitale, Naivasha, Embu, Garissa, Kericho, Bungoma, Ruiru, Kitengela.
Spotting a counterfeit before you pay
Because payment happens at the door, you have a moment of leverage most online buyers do not.
Use it. Open the outer packaging in front of the courier and look for a manufacturer name and address,
a batch number, an expiry date, an intact seal, and printing that is straight and correctly spelled.
Anything missing from that list is a reason to decline the parcel.
